PNG to PDF, free and private.
Turn screenshots, diagrams, slides exported as PNG and scanned pages into one PDF, one picture per page. Your files aren't uploaded, and PNG stays as lossless as it was: text and thin lines remain crisp and transparent backgrounds stay transparent.

From PNG files to one PDF in three steps
Add your PNG files
Drop in screenshots from your phone or computer, a chart, exported slides or a page you scanned to PNG. JPG photos may join them. The PDF follows the list from top to bottom, so fix the order there with the arrows or by dragging.
Lossless from start to finish
A typical screenshot or scan is copied into the PDF byte for byte, without being re-encoded. PNGs with transparency, a colour palette or 16-bit colour are unpacked first and then stored again with lossless compression, never as JPG.
Save your PDF
Pick A4, US Letter or Image size, press Convert to PDF and save the file, which is named after your first file. Compress, Merge and Sign are offered straight after, if you need to go on.
Tips for screenshots, diagrams and transparent PNGs
Phone screenshots and long captures
Image size counts 96 pixels per inch, so a phone screenshot becomes a tall, narrow page that reads well on screen. On A4 the whole capture is shrunk onto one sheet and never split, so the text in a long scrolling screenshot can get tiny: take several shorter screenshots if it has to be readable on paper.
Small icons and charts
A4 and US Letter blow every picture up until it fills the printable area. A 200-pixel icon or a small chart then shows its pixels or looks soft. Image size keeps such graphics at their own size, which is usually what you want for a sharp diagram.
Transparent backgrounds
Transparency goes into the PDF as a real mask, so a logo or a signature cut out as PNG sits cleanly on the page. PDF pages are white, though: white artwork on a transparent background disappears. Palette PNGs and 16-bit PNGs are kept lossless too; 16-bit is brought down to 8 bits per channel, which you won't see.
What to expect for file size
A normal screenshot or scan keeps its own compression, so the PDF weighs about as much as your PNGs together. Palette and transparent PNGs are unpacked first and can grow. Photos saved as PNG are heavy: Compress PDF with Balanced or Strong turns them into JPEG and makes the file much lighter, at the cost of some sharpness in screenshots. Light leaves lossless images such as your PNGs untouched.
PNG to PDF: frequently asked questions
How do I turn PNG files into a PDF?
Drop the PNG files on the tool or tap it to pick them, check the sequence in the list, pick Image size, A4 or US Letter and press Convert to PDF. You get one PDF with every picture on its own page.
Is converting PNG to PDF lossless?
Yes, for practically every PNG. The pixels go into the PDF with lossless compression, so screenshots and diagrams stay sharp down to the pixel. Only a PNG that can't be read that way, such as an animated PNG, is placed as a high-quality JPEG with a white background instead, and the result tells you which file that was.
What happens to a transparent background?
It stays transparent. Because PDF pages are white, you see white behind your logo or cut-out, both in a PDF viewer and on paper. A white logo on a transparent background therefore becomes invisible: put it on a coloured background in an image editor first.
How do I combine many screenshots into one PDF?
Select them all at once: on a computer with Ctrl or Cmd held down, on a phone by ticking several in the picker. Each screenshot becomes one page. The list shows every file with its size; arrange it before you convert, because the PDF keeps exactly that order.
Do iPhone and Android screenshots work?
Yes. iPhones save screenshots as PNG, and so do many Android phones; phones that save them as JPG work just as well. Choose Image size for pages shaped like your screen, or A4 when you want to print them with a margin.
Can I select or search the text in my screenshots?
No. A screenshot is a picture, and this tool doesn't do text recognition (OCR): the text looks sharp in the PDF, but you can't select, search or copy it. Afterwards you can make the PDF searchable with OCR PDF.
Why is my PDF bigger than my PNG files?
Usually it isn't, because most screenshots and scans are copied as they are. PNGs with a colour palette or transparency are unpacked and stored in full colour, which can make them larger. The file size tip above explains how to shrink the result.
How do I put slides exported as PNG into a PDF?
Export the slides as PNG, add them in slide order and choose Image size: every page then has the shape of a slide, 16:9 or 4:3. With A4 or US Letter a wide slide gets a landscape page with a 1 cm margin, handy for printed handouts.
Can I turn a screenshot of a receipt or ticket into a PDF?
Yes: a screenshot of an online receipt, a booking or a ticket becomes a one-page PDF that is easy to send or archive. Image size keeps it exactly as it looked on screen, while A4 makes it easy to print. QR codes and barcodes stay crisp, since nothing is compressed with loss.
Can I mix PNG with JPG photos?
Yes. PNG and JPG can go into the same PDF, each on its own page, and most browsers also accept WebP, GIF or BMP. Mostly camera photos from a phone? JPG to PDF explains how photos are turned upright and which page size suits them.
Are there any limits?
A PNG over 50 megapixels (24 on a phone) is refused before it is opened, so a huge scan can't freeze the tab. A PNG that was cut off during a download is reported instead of ending up with a black strip, and an animated PNG is added as its first frame.
