What this site does
PDFCommunity provides free PDF tools, for example to merge, compress, and convert PDF files to Word or PowerPoint. All processing happens locally in your own browser: your files aren't uploaded to or stored on a server.
The tools are free to use. We do our best to keep the site available and working, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change, pause or discontinue tools.
No guarantee of a perfect conversion
Conversion to Word or PowerPoint happens automatically based on the structure of your PDF. With complex layouts (tables, multiple columns, special formatting), the order or positioning of text may differ from the original. Always check the result yourself before using it for an exam, an official document, a publication, or any other purpose where accuracy matters.
Limitation of liability
This site and its tools are provided "as is", without any warranty. To the extent permitted by law, PDFCommunity is not liable for:
- Errors, inaccuracies, or data loss arising from use of the tools;
- Damages, direct or indirect, arising from the use or inability to use this site;
- Decisions you make based on a converted or edited file without checking it yourself.
You use these tools at your own risk and remain responsible for checking and keeping your own files.
This limitation does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, or wherever the law does not allow liability to be excluded, and it does not affect the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Your own files and rights
You are responsible for the files you process with these tools, and for respecting any copyrights or other rights attached to them. PDFCommunity does not collect or view your files — see our privacy policy.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts in Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
Changes
These terms may be updated, for example when new features are added. The date at the top of this page shows when that last happened. A new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, to use from then on; it does not apply retroactively.
