The same pages are taken from each file

Guideline: up to 50 MB works well on most devices; for larger files a computer is more reliable than a phone. Check for yourself that your files aren't uploaded

How to save selected pages as a new PDF

    1

    Choose your files

Add one or more PDFs, type the pages to keep, for example 1, 3-5, and choose one PDF or separate files.

    2

The pages are copied, not redrawn

Your browser copies the chosen pages into a new PDF without changing them, so text stays sharp and selectable.

    3

    Download instantly

Download the new PDF with just those pages, or one PDF per page in a zip file.

    Tips for extracting pages

    Shortcuts for ranges

5- means page 5 to the end and -3 means the first three pages. A page you type twice is included once.

    Bookmarks and links come along

Bookmarks, links and form fields on the pages you keep stay in the new PDF, and so do page labels such as i, ii, iii. With separate files, each page is named after its number, for example report-page-4.pdf.

    Then send them on

After extracting into one PDF, What next? offers Merge with other PDFs, Compress or Convert to Word without choosing the file again. That's how you convert only a few pages to Word.

    Honest about the limits

Extracting copies whole pages; a part of a page can't be cut out. To collect pages from several PDFs into one file, extract them first and then merge.

    Questions about extracting PDF pages

How do I extract pages from a PDF?

Drop your PDF into the tool, type the pages you want (for example "1, 3-5"), choose one new PDF or separate files, and click Extract pages. The new file downloads straight away.

Can I save each page as its own PDF?

Yes. Choose Separate files and every page you selected becomes its own PDF. With more than one file, they download together as one zip.

In what order are the pages saved?

In the order you type them: 3, 1, 2 makes page 3 the first page, and 7-5 gives 7, 6, 5. To remove pages instead of keeping them, use Delete pages.

    Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The pages are copied inside your own browser with JavaScript. Your file isn't uploaded to a server.

What is the difference between extracting and splitting?

Extract pages copies only the pages you choose into a new PDF, for example pages 2-5, and leaves the rest out. Split cuts the whole PDF into parts, so every page ends up in one of the files.

    Important to know

Conversion to Word or PowerPoint happens automatically. With complex layouts (tables, multiple columns), the order of text may differ from the original — always check the result yourself before using it for an exam, official document, or any other purpose where accuracy matters.
