How to put the pages of a PDF in order

    1

    Choose your PDF

Drag it into the tool or click to browse. Your file isn't uploaded: your browser reads it itself.

    2

    Move, rotate, delete

Tap the pages you want to change and use the buttons, or drag pages to their place. Add a blank page wherever you need one.

    3

    Download the new PDF

Text, links, bookmarks and form fields stay. Start over at any time to get back the original order.

    Tips for organizing a PDF

    Keyboard shortcuts

Shift-click selects a range of pages. The arrow keys, Home and End move between pages, Delete removes the selected ones and Escape cancels a drag.

    Up to 1,500 pages

Organize handles documents of up to 1,500 pages. For a bigger file, split it first or use Extract pages or Delete pages.

    Rotation adds up

Rotate left or right adds to how a page is turned now, so a page that is sideways ends up upright after one turn in the right direction.

    Honest about the limits

This tool only changes the order, rotation and number of pages. It does not change what is on a page. Links that pointed to a page you deleted no longer lead anywhere.

    Questions about organizing a PDF

How do I change the order of the pages in a PDF?

Add your PDF to the tool above. Tap a page and use "Move earlier" or "Move later", or on a computer drag the page to its new place. Click Organize PDF to download the result.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Pick the pages that are sideways or upside down and press Rotate left or Rotate right. The other pages stay as they are.

How do I add a blank page?

Pick the page after which you want a blank page and press Blank page. Nothing picked: the blank page goes at the end. It gets the size of the page next to it.

Can I organize several PDFs together?

Organize works on one PDF at a time. To combine files, merge them first; the result then opens here with a single tap under "What next?".

    Does the quality change?

No. Pages are copied as they are, not turned into pictures: text stays sharp and selectable, and links, bookmarks and form fields stay too.

Can I delete pages while organizing?

Yes. Pick one or more pages and use Delete. At least one page has to stay.

    Can I undo my changes?

Start over puts every page back in its original order and position. Your original file is never changed: the tool always makes a new PDF.
