Multiple files at once are supported — each page becomes one slide

Guideline: up to 50 MB works well on most devices; for larger files a computer is more reliable than a phone. Check for yourself that your files aren't uploaded

This document looks like a table or list with columns side by side, but its layout was too irregular to convert into a real table automatically. With "Editable text", the order may get scrambled when a cell wraps across multiple lines. For this type of document, Identical layout is likely to give a more reliable result.

How to turn a PDF into editable PowerPoint slides

    1

    Choose your files

Add one or more PDFs and choose Editable text, with every block of text in its own text box, or Identical layout, with each slide as a picture of the page.

    2

    Every page becomes a slide

With Editable text, your browser turns each block of text into a text box in the right place and adds the pictures and shapes around it. Identical layout puts a picture of the page on each slide.

    3

    Download instantly

Download the .pptx file, one per PDF: every page becomes one slide. Check the result before you present it.

Tips for converting PDF to PowerPoint

One slide size for the whole deck

A presentation has one slide size, so the most common page size is used. Pages of another size are fitted in, centred and in proportion, never stretched.

    Tables and links stay usable

Tables become real PowerPoint tables you can edit, and web and e-mail links stay clickable, also inside table cells. Formulas come in as pictures, in their original place.

Identical layout is made for screens

With Identical layout every slide is a picture of about 100 dpi: sharp on a screen or projector, a little soft when printed large. For printing, use the original PDF.

    Honest about the limits

This tool does no text recognition (OCR): scanned slides stay pictures. You can first make a scan searchable with OCR PDF. Because every block of text becomes its own text box, a paragraph that ran across columns can end up split.

Questions about converting PDF to PowerPoint

How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint for free?

Drop one or more PDFs into the tool above and click "Convert to PowerPoint". Each page becomes one slide, and your .pptx file downloads as soon as it's ready.

    Will the slides be editable?

With "Editable text" (the default), yes — each block of text becomes its own text box that you can click into and edit in PowerPoint, positioned to match the original page. Choose "Identical layout" instead if you'd rather have each slide be a picture of the page, with text that isn't editable.

Can I convert multiple PDFs into one presentation?

Not directly: each PDF becomes its own .pptx file, and several files download together as one zip. Want one presentation? Merge the PDFs first with the Merge tool, then convert the merged PDF.

Is there a limit to how many pages I can convert?

No artificial limit. The practical limit depends on your device's memory — documents with hundreds of pages generally convert without a problem on a regular laptop or phone. Guideline: up to 50 MB works well on most devices; for larger files a computer is more reliable than a phone.

    Which programs open the presentation?

You get a .pptx file. It opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote and LibreOffice Impress.

Should I choose Editable text or Identical layout?

Choose Editable text if you want to change the slides: each block of text becomes its own text box. Choose Identical layout if the slides must look exactly like the PDF, for example to present: each slide is then a picture of the page.

    Important to know

Conversion to Word or PowerPoint happens automatically. With complex layouts (tables, multiple columns), the order of text may differ from the original — always check the result yourself before using it for an exam, official document, or any other purpose where accuracy matters.
